Four ways to arrive
By private water taxi
The most direct route from Marco Polo Airport — around 30 minutes, arriving at the hotel's own water entrance. Book ahead; it is the arrival Venice deserves.
By Alilaguna waterbus
The shared airport boat runs to San Zaccaria, a two-minute walk along the Riva. Allow roughly 75 minutes and expect to carry your bags a short distance.
By train
Arrive at Venezia Santa Lucia, then take vaporetto line 1 or 2 down the Grand Canal to San Zaccaria — about 30 to 40 minutes, and a fine first look at the city.
By car
Cars stop at Piazzale Roma or the Tronchetto garage; there is no road access to the historic centre. Continue by water taxi or vaporetto from there.
